Compare top paycheck advance providers

LendingTree is a marketing platform and does not provide paycheck advance, earned wage access, or similar financial products. This page features independent third-party providers that may offer these products. LendingTree may receive compensation if you click through to or sign up with a provider. Product features, eligibility requirements, fees (if any), repayment terms, and availability are determined solely by the provider and may vary. Some providers may charge a monthly subscription or membership fee and/or an additional fee for expedited or same-day funding. Not all providers or products are available in every state. Consumers should review the provider's terms and disclosures before using any product.

How paycheck advances work

Paycheck advance providers can help you access a portion of your next paycheck early, before payday. You generally authorize the provider to withdraw the amount from your checking account on a scheduled repayment date. There are usually fees involved, such as for expedited funding or a required monthly subscription.

  1. 1.

    Request an advance online

The paycheck advance provider will check your eligibility, which usually requires an active checking account with a history of regular direct deposits.

  2. 2.

    Connect your bank account

You’ll need to link a checking account so the advance provider can deposit your advance and withdraw the amount from that account on the scheduled repayment date.

  3. 3.

    Get the cash you need

Many paycheck advance providers offer “instant” or expedited payout options for an added fee. Some also charge a monthly subscription fee to use paycheck advance services.
