Throughout the years, Laura has also taught courses in finance, accounting, banking and entrepreneurship at San Jose State University, where she is now a professor emeritus.

Laura’s thoughts on financial education
It’s exciting to have the opportunity to share fact-based, useful knowledge about business and personal finance. Most people haven’t had formal education in these areas, and they struggle to make good decisions based on partial information or hearsay comments. LendingTree provides an invaluable, free resource of data authored and vetted by credentialed experts, to which I'm proud to contribute."
